Furskin cuttings are remnants and off-cuts from pelt processing, used in garment manufacturing and trim applications. They are classified separately from whole pelts and may carry different duty rates under the HTS. For importers sourcing material for fur-trim or accessory production, correctly distinguishing whole skins from cuttings at entry is important for accurate duty payment and inventory accounting.
