The equipment itself does not require TTB or FDA admissibility review at the border — it clears through standard CBP entry. However, wineries and cideries using imported equipment in federally regulated production facilities must ensure the equipment meets applicable food-contact material standards (FDA food-contact regulations) and any state-level sanitation requirements for licensed beverage producers.
