Linen-cotton and linen-viscose blends under 85% flax are heavily used in apparel (shirts, trousers, dresses) and home textiles (curtains, upholstery fabric) where the cost premium of pure linen is prohibitive. Industrial applications such as canvas and packaging occasionally use lower-purity flax blends as well, though jute or other bast fibers are more common in those segments.
