Umbrellas assembled in China have been subject to Section 301 tariffs, which has led many importers to explore production in Vietnam, Cambodia, and other Southeast Asian countries. Origin determination for umbrellas can be complex when components (frames, canopy fabric, handles) are sourced from multiple countries, so a substantial-transformation analysis is often needed to establish the correct country of origin.
