Frozen nuts are relatively uncommon in trade compared to dried or roasted nuts, but they do appear — particularly in food-service supply chains where freshness and texture are priorities. The key distinction from other nut headings is the frozen preservation state; nuts that are roasted, salted, or otherwise prepared fall under prepared/preserved nut categories. Freezing alone, without further preparation, keeps nuts within this heading.
